Prior to the consumer alert, the governor announced on August 19 a collaboration between the Department of Motor Vehicles and the New York State Liquor Administration to educate bar owners, security guards, and licensed business premises about driving licenses, permits and Fake ID Massachusetts card issued by the country with information on new security features. Identity theft topped 15 of the Federal Trade Fake ID South Carolina Commission’s consumer complaints category for three consecutive years in 2014. Last year, New York State recorded nearly 16,000 identity theft complaints of all ages.
