უცხოდ მარებო!
ზილფო, კავებო, მომკლავებო,
ვერსაკარებო,
წარბ-წამწამ-თვალნო, მისათვალნო,
შემაზარებო,
ძოწ-ლალ-ბაგეო, დამდაგეო,
სულთწამარებო,
პირო მთვარეო, მომიგონე
მზისა დარებო!
თვალთა ნარგისი, დამდაგისი,
შეგშვენის მწველად,
ყელსა ბროლისა, უტოლებსა,
გველი გყვა მცველად,
გეხსნეს ხალები, მაკრძალები,
ამარტის ველად,
ნარინჯნი ორნი, ტოლნი, სწორნი,
მიქმოდენ ხელად,
მიწვევენ შენად შესამკობლად,
დამამწარებო!
ალვაო, გესხნეს ორნი ნორჩნი
მოსარხეველნი,
მკლავნი მომკლავნი, თითნი თლილნი
მოსახვეველნი,
ზარიფსა წელსა დაეკვირნეს
ქვეყანად მვლელნი,
ოდეს გნახვიდი, შევიმატნი
ათასნი წელნი.
აწ დამლევიან ყოვლნი დღენი,
უცხო ვარებო.
ბაგემდუმრიად გიალერსებ,
ბაგეო ვარდო!
თვალთა სურიან ხილვა შენი,
კეკელა მარდო!
გულსა სწყურიან დამაშვრალსა
რას შეგაფარდო?
თუცა შენ დაგთმო, ვინღა ვპოვო,
სად გავიზარდო?
უშენოდ ხილვა არვისი მსურს,
შევიზარებო.
შენმა გონებამ მიმამსგავსა
მილეულს მთავრეს,
სიცოცხლის ნაცვლად მოვინატრი
სიკვდილსა მწარეს.
მოდით, მიჯნურნო, შემიბრალეთ,
მოვლეთ ჩემს არეს,
მკვდარი მიჯნური დამიტირეთ,
