მონანიება
"ნურაფრისა გეშინია, არასოდეს შეგეშინდეს და ნუ ინაღვლებ, ოღონდ მონანიება არ დაივიწყო და უფალი ყველაფერს მოგიტევებს. ისეთი ცოდვა არ არსებობს და ვერც იარსებებს ამ ქვეყნად, რაც ჭეშმარიტ მომნანიებელს არ მიეტევება.. და ვერც ჩაიდენს ადამიანი ისეთ დიდ ცოდვას, ღვთის უსაზღვრო სიყვარული რომ ამოწუროს. განა არსებობს ცოდვა, ღვთის სიყვარულს რომ აღემატებოდეს? მონანიება არ დაგავიწყდეს, მუდმივად მოინანიე და ილოცე . შიში კი განიგდე. გწამდეს, რომ უფალს ისე უყვარხარ, შენ რომ ვერ წამოიდგენ, სწორედ შენივე ცოდვით და შენსავე ცოდვაში უყვარხარ. ნათქვამია და ასეა – ერთ მონანულს უფრო მეტი სიხარული მოაქვს ცად, ვიდრე ათ მართალს, რომელთაც მონანიება არ სჭირდებათ. წადი და ნუ გეშინია. ადამიანები ნუ გადარდებს, წყენაზე ნუ გაბრაზდები, გარდაცვლილს გულში მიუტევე ყველაფერი, რითიც შეურაცხგყო და ჭეშმარიტად შეურიგდი.. თუ ინანიებ, გიყვარს კიდეც.. და თუ გიყვარს, მაშასადამე, უკვე ღვთისა ხარ.. სიყვარულით ყველაფერი მიეტევება, ყველა დაიხსნება.. და თუკი მე, შენნაირსავე ცოდვილს, გული შემიძარი და შეგიცოდე, მაშინ ღმერთი რაღას იზამს? სიყვარული შეუფასებელი საგანძურია, მთელ სამყაროს შეგაძენინებს, და არა მხოლოდ შენსას, სხვის ცოდვებსაც გამოისყიდი.."
