როცა ღრუბლები საშინელი სისწრაფით
მზეს ეფარებიან,

ჩემს პატარა გოგოობას აიტანს,
ვინც მომსვლელ ცივ ზამთარს
მარტოს არ შემატოვებს.
ზოგჯერ, ყველაზე მეტად მჭირდება
სულ უბრალო რამ,
- მკითხო, როგორ ვარ.
მოხვიდე, მაგრად დახურო კარი
და არ შემოუშვა არც ერთი სიცივე,
არც ერთი ქარი,
არც ერთი უშენობა.
ამქვეყნიურობას აცდენილები ერთმანეთისკენ მივიზიდებით,
რომ ერთი მეორისგან სიმშვიდე გამოვითხოვოთ,
ერთმანეთს შევეხიდოთ,
და ვერ გასაძლები დღეებივით გაწელილ ღამეებს
როგორღაც ვუგვერდოთ.
ზოგჯერ, საშინლად მინდება
ვიჯდე ზღვის ნაპირას,
და ჰორიზონტს გაცდენილმა
ხელი დავუქნიო ნაპირზე
მარტო დარჩენილ საკუთარ თავს,
რომელმაც ძალა გამომაცალა.
